Project Coordinator
Project coordinators oversee various aspects of planning, permitting, designs, approvals, and installation of projects. Electrical Engineer
Supervise and manage the site surveyors, pv design team, and procurement to ensure accuracy for installations. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the site surveyors, pv design team, and procurement to ensure accuracy for installations • Remain up to speed with the lates NEC codes and amendments for PV • Serve as an electrical design expert in the development and implementation of solar and energy storage projects for residential customers • Create and review electrical single line diagrams using auto-cad with consideration of the current electrical equipment and new PV to be installed • Develop and review bill of materials for each project • Provide engineering support and guidance to crews and contractors during construction • Prepare and review as-built record drawings of completed installations and construction • Review and oversee site surveys to ensure the detailed information needed is being gathered. Qualifications: • B.S. in electrical engineering accredited by ABET • Fundamentals of engineering exam license from NCEES valid in Hawaii • Professional engineering exam license from NCEES valid in Hawaii • Able to demonstrate auto-cad design skills with minimum a working knowledge of 2008 & 2014 National Electrical Code. • Competency in laying out electrical equipment on the plan and coordinate with mechanical, process, architectural and structural discipline. • Capable of sizing feeders, grounding systems and OCPDs. • Understanding of NFPA, IES and building codes. • Experience with editing electrical specifications from master templates. • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Working knowledge of Auto-CAD

Responsibilities: • Serve as an electrical design expert in the development and implementation of solar and energy storage projects for residential customers • Remain up to speed with the latest NEC codes and amendments for PV and energy storage • Create and review PV plan packages including layout, SLD, & BOM's using auto-cad with consideration of the current electrical equipment and new PV and storage to be installed • Provide design support and guidance to install crews during construction • Prepare and review as-built record drawings of completed installations and construction • Report on performance of the design team and offer solutions/plans for improvements Qualifications: • Able to demonstrate auto-cad design skills • Minimum working knowledge of 2017 National Electrical Code • Experienced in PV and Battery Storage Design Capable of sizing feeders, grounding systems, and OCPDs • Understanding of NFPA, IES and building codes •Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Expert communication skills with the ability to teach and receive new information for changing requirements
